Bolden Beau, ridden perfectly by Jason ‘The Genius’ Maskiell, saluted in the AGCO Finance 0-58 race over 1875m at Kyneton on Saturday the 17th of April.

Jumping from barrier 9, on a track rated a good 4, Maskiell forced the pace and had ‘Beau’ leading as they passed the post for the first time. From then on it was a procession, Maskiell had ‘Beau’ where he is most comfortable out front, bowling along and dictating the pace. Under vigorous riding in the straight he was never headed and went on to win by 0.3 of a length. Maskiell has the key to this horse having ridden him now three times for his two wins.

‘Beau’ has now won a total of $40,247 for connections, congratulations to all owners and the Cornish Gaskin team. Looking for ward to seeing what ‘Beau’ can produce on heavier track heading in to the winter months.
