Mary's Discretion broke through at Donald on Sunday winning the Bob & Kathy Grewar Maiden Plate over 1200m.

She jumped away quickly and under the expert urgings of Jockey Linda Meech settled one out, about five lengths off the lead. The pace was hectic and she did a good job to stay in touch. Rounding the turn she was ridden forward and when an opening occurred about half way down the straight she pushed through, went to the lead and held off the opposition to win by .8 of a length.

Mary's Discretion appears to have an exciting future, being a daughter of Elusive City she is a full sister to Blaze King a winner of over Seven Million Hong Kong Dollars.
