Left JayBee Out showed her class at Echuca when winning the Independent Cranes BM58 Handicap, over 1170m on a soft 5 track, last Wednesday.

She jumped from barrier 6 and stable jock Lee Smith quickly had her settled down 3rd on the fence. Smith had her travelling nicely behind the leaders and on turning into the straight he eased her out three off the fence and into clear running. He had her in the perfect position for the sprint home and 100m from the post she hit the front, she was never headed and went on to win, easing up, by 1.25 lengths. A top ride by Lee, he had her in the perfect position from the jump and rated her spot on during the run. 

Mick & Donna have a high opinion of the mare, she is lightly raced and should provide a lot of good times at the races for her owners.
